He was predeceased by: his parents, Lealon Spaulding and Lula Spaulding (Brewer); and his siblings, Surrilda Raines, Lillian Brewer, Mose Spaulding, William Spaulding, Howard Spaulding, Addison Spaulding, Tavie Harris and Rebecca Dodge. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
