He was predeceased by: his father Jerry E. Adams; his brother-in-law Carlos Mitchell; his great-niece Mira Tucker; and his parents-in-law, Ike and Jo Mitchell.
He is survived by: his mother Sarah A. Adams (Ward) of Marengo; his wife Cathy Mitchell; his daughters, Stacie Sias (Charles) of Cardington and Stefene Manders (EJ) of Florida; his grandchildren, Lane, Eli, Tessa, Alex, Roman, Raegan and Aella; his siblings, Kitty Whited (Doyle) of Marengo, Sandy Ulrey (Paul) of Cardington, Terry Adams of Mount Gilead and Tracy Adams (Anna) of Mount Gilead, J. R; and his sister-in-law Kimberly Mitchell of Cardington. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
