It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Johnson Sr. of Carbon Hill, Ohio, who passed away on July 13, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl W. Johnson and Alma G. Stephenson Johnson; his children, Donald Johnson Jr. and Carolyn Martin (Henry); his grandson Dakota Eisel Eugene Albright; his great grandchild Bryant Lee Good; and his siblings, Lonice Johnson (Dorothy), Woodruff Johnson, Harold Johnson (Wavelene), Roy Johnson, Robert "Ed" Johnson and Arvella Lehman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Betty Traugh (Jeff) of Carbon Hill, Sheryl Gretz (David) of Logan and Cissy Johnson (Michael Ludwig Sr.) of Newark; his brother Roger Johnson (Ellen) of New Marshfield; his daughter-in-law Renee Johnson of Texas; and his siblings-in-law, Leora Johnson Logan, Linda Sickles (Jim) of Albany, Debbie Johnson of Nelsonville, Hope Johnson of Logan, Bob Blackford (June) of Lancaster and Buddy Blackford (Theresa) of Gypsum. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren.
