With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Zella M. Kanam (Canton, Ohio), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hayden McKinney and Bell McKinney (Hughes); her husband John D. Kanam; and her siblings, Kathleen Ballas and Clarence Hayden McKinney.
She is survived by: her children, J. Duke Kanam (Marilyn), Michael Kanam (Susan) and Jacqueline Regula (David); her grandchildren, Hayden, Jack Kanam, Olivia, Marissa Regula, Jonathan, Natalie, Nathan and Anthony Kanam; her sisters, Carolyn White and Angie Suarez; and her friend Mary Ann McWhorter.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church (1118 Cherry Ave NE, Canton, OH 44704). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Zella's name may be made to St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church or the Stark County Humane Society.
