He is survived by: his wife Susan Shimko; his sister Diane; his sons, William and Joseph Shimko; his stepsons, Shawn Leach and Joseph Davis; and his in-laws, Judy Oddi, Chris Kuestner, Margaret, Rocco Rotunno, Gail Coleman and Joseph Hacha IV. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; 11 grandchildren.
