He was predeceased by: his parents, William Belden, and Jeanne Belden, Sr. (Geoghegan); his daughter Kristen Belden; and his siblings, Janet Belden and Bruce Belden.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Belden (Scheiring); his sons, William Belden III (Kevelyn) and Brian Belden (Joanna); his sister Joan Belden; his sisters-in-law, Thomas Belden (Kathleen) and Janice Belden; and his grandchildren, William IV, Cameron, Blake, Rowan, Jackson, Kristen, Brendan and Conner.
