With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Walter W. Lauer Jr. of Canton, Ohio, born in Graysville, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 15, 2024 at the age of 92. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter, Sr. Lauer and Clara Lauer (Smith); and his wife Marolyn Lauer (Mikes). He is survived by: his children, Michael Lauer (Linda), Ina Lauer (Norman) and Patrick Lauer (Jan); his grandsons, Seth Lauer (Andrea), Andrew Lauer (Porchae) and Caleb Lauer-Butala; and his great grandchildren, Atticus, Atlas, Maliyah and Myles.
Memorial donations, in Walter's name, may be made to the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary (5001 Angel Canyon Rd. Kanab, UT 84741).
