With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Imogene Schaefer of Canton, Ohio, who passed away on January 14, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Carl and Audrey Carl (Haines); her son David Glenn Schaefer; and her granddaughter Samone Gabrail Schaefer. She is survived by: her husband Glenn A. Schaefer; her daughter Cheryl Sommers (Calvin); her granddaughter Clarissa Mills (Tom); her siblings, Barbara Almasy and George Carl; and her great grandchild Thomas Mills.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sanders Funeral Home (218 E Nassau St, Canton, OH 44730). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
