It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raphael T. Lijoi of Canton, Ohio, who passed away on January 7, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Giacomo Colonna and Caroline Colonna (Palumbo); her husband Andrea Lijoi; her children, Giacomo Lijoi and Caroline Lijoi; and her sisters, Saveria Picone and MaryAnn McDermott.
She is survived by: her children, Marianna Lijoi (John Lehman) of Wadsworth and Saverio Lijoi of Canton; her grandchildren, Kyle Antol (Melissa Luntz), Carolyn Antol, Jared Lijoi (Caitlin), Dustin Lijoi, Leah Godfrey (Matt), Shana Lijoi, Ashley Lehman and Mike Lehman (Erika); and her great grandchildren, Makenna, Mia, Gianna, Sullivan, Marcelle, Anola, Travlr, Hunter, Avery, Louie and Madisyn.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Christ the Servant Catholic Parish (1001 39th St NW, Canton, OH 44709). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations, in Raphael's name, may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Crossroads Hospice.
