She was predeceased by: her parent Glen Brownsword; her grandparents, John Egan (Mona) and Virginia Brownsword; her son-in-law Freddie "Buck" Mcmeans; and her parents-in-law, Daniel and Eloise Massey.
She is survived by: her mother Julia Brownsword King; her husband Bernard Massey Sr.; her children, James Massey (Christine), Bernard Massey II (Angelina), Clayton Massey (Tanya) and Ricca Mcmeans (Massey); her siblings, Marcia Young (Milton), Glendora Brownsword and John King; her grandchildren, Desiree of Thomas, Tamia, Lexi, Bernard "Lil B", Skye, Lyric and Chase; her great grandchildren, Daisy of Canton, Ohio. and Karson of Canton, Ohio.; her siblings-in-law, Shirley Henderson Kennard, Paulette McElroy (Larry), Sara Fite, Gloria Massey, Randy Massey (Pam) of Canton, Ohio, Pete Massey (Pat) of Canton, Ohio and Donald Reith of Canton, Ohio; her nieces, Erica "Shahada" and Nikki; her nephew Brian; and her friends, Tom Wilcoxon, Keisha Peterson and Becki Carpenter. She is also survived by nieces, and nephews.
