He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas R. Mossbarger and Edith Mossbarger (Myers); his wife Janet Mossbarger (Peterson); and his daughter Nancy Laird (Mossbarger). He is survived by: his children, Linda Heather (Gary), Louise Young (Bob), Merrill R. Mossbarger, Jr. (Kathy) and Julie Hillenbrand; and his son-in-law John Laird. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandsons.
