With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary L. Destefano of Canton, Ohio, born in Middlebranch, Ohio, who passed away on January 15, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincenzio Costello and Antoinetta Costello (Girardi); her husband John Destefano; her children, Stephanie Miller, Dino Destefano and Dina Sprague; and her siblings, Tony, Leonard Costello, Fermina Moore and Arbenia Martino.
She is survived by: her children, John Destefano (Mary) of Alliance, Nick Destefano (Debbie) of Akron, Steve Destefano (Maria) of Canton, Annette Destefano of Canton and George Destefano (Averie) of Louisville; and her siblings, Nick Costello (Sandy) of Canton, Ed Costello of Canton, Shirley Picone (Gino) of Canton and Nancy Houck of Wadsworth. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
