She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Amstutz and Margaret Amstutz (Barkman); her spouse Ira Essner Jr.; and her sister La Grace Moldovan. She is survived by: her stepchildren, Barbara Rupe (Neil), Ira Essner II (Jackie) and Timothy Essner; her grandchildren, Adam Rupe and Megan Genest (Adam); and her great grandchild Andrew Genest. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
