He was predeceased by: his parents, Massid Karoue and Afefe Karoue (Faris). He is survived by: his siblings, Noreen Abu-Zakhim (Rafik), Faris Karoue (Linda Carmen) and Edward Karoue (Sherrie Jacobs); his nephew David Abu-Zakhim; his nieces, Mary Abu-Zakhim (Faris) and Nour Kelly (Patrick); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Nick Abu-Zakhim, Elias Abu-Zakhim, Miriam Abu-Zakhim and Sophia Kelly.
