It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louis J. Miday (Canton, Ohio), who passed away on February 27, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Miday and Eleanor Miday (Martin); his wife Rachael Miday; and his children, Christina Miday and Richard Miday.
He is survived by: his children, Rachael Evans (Rick), Patricia Williams (Dennis), Theresa Miday, Janet McKenna (David), Louis Miday, Michael Miday (Carol Lynne), David Miday (Kathy) and Steven Miday (Dana). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lamiell Funeral Home (1353 Cleveland Ave NW, Canton, OH 44703). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church (4940 Tuscarawas St W, Canton, OH 44708).
