He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph T. Vaught and Joanna Vaught (Carter); his wife Phyllis Vaught (Rotunno); and his siblings, Joseph T. Vaught Jr., Sanford Vaught and Jacqueline Hughes.
He is survived by: his brothers, Russell Vaught and Roger Vaught. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
