He was predeceased by: his parents, Maynard McCarty and Eline McCarty; and his brothers, Doug McCarty and Chuck McCarty. He is survived by: his daughters, Kim McCarty, Carolyn Heckert (Mark) and Lisa Wallbrown (Steve); his sisters, Patricia Feller (Larry) and Norma O'Donohue (Larry); and his grandchildren, Tara, James and Janessa.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 5:45 PM at the Rossi Family Funeral Home, Inc. (730 30th St NW, Canton, OH 44709). A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44270).
