Katie Mae Bridgest Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Katie Mae Bridgest of Canton, Ohio, who passed away on May 6, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bennett and Mary Bennett (Wilkens); her daughter Treasa Jones; her granddaughter Valerie; and her siblings, Juanita Muse, Joseph Bennett, William "Red" Bennett, Eugene "Gene" Bennett and Robert Bennett.
She is survived by: her children, John Bridgest (Dorthea) and Emmelia Lewis (Doyle); and her grandchildren, Kerry, Lynise (Ira), Scott, Kimberly Chandra (Joseph), Chan (Tracey), Jasmine, Mark, Tiffany, Pamela, Blaine, Tommy and Dominic. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Shiloh Baptist Church.
