It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn Louise Scherer (Canton, Ohio), who passed away on July 1, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Kathryn Louise departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Kathryn Louise may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Kathryn Louise leaves behind.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Clark Yarger and Vernice Yarger; her husband Earl Scherer; and her granddaughter Carrie Waters. She is survived by : her children, Louanne Hedberg (Paul), Clark Scherer and Sherrie Bush (Larry); and her siblings, Bernice May (Jim) of Carrollton, OH, Carol McCaughan of Babson Park, FL and Nelson Yarger (Helen) of Winter Haven, FL..

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Canton Christian Home (2550 Cleveland Ave NW, Canton, OH 44709).
