He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Shortt and Anna Shortt (Smith); and his brother Terry Shortt. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Shortt; his children, Tina Westrich (Anthony) and Jamie Shortt (Tiffany); his brothers, Donald Shortt (Vanessa) and Jerry Shortt (Linda); and his grandchildren, Brayden, Logan Westrich, Avery and Jameson Shortt.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kreighbaum Sanders Funeral Home (4041 Cleveland Ave SW, Canton, OH 44707). The military honors was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Sandy Valley Cemetery.
