With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joanne Ballway (Canton, Ohio), born in New Castle, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 27, 2024 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Rapp and Irene Rapp; her husband Thomas E. Ballway; her sons, Bill and Bob Ballway; her granddaughters, Janine and Angela Sweaney; her brothers-in-law, Jim Delagrange and Jim Ballway (Joanne); her daughter-in-law Diane; and her stepgranddaughter Addison Cooper.
She is survived by: her sister Betty Blaha (Dick); her close friend Jeanne Delagrange; her daughters-in-law, Amy Ballway and Rosie Ballway; her children, James, John Ballway (Chele), Susie Sweaney (Rocke), Anne Aston (Scott) and Barbie Elsass (Eric); her grandchildren, Eric, Steven Ballway, AJ, Elizabeth Ballway, Michael, Barbie Ballway (Sam), Joe Pastier (Lindsay), Ben Sweaney and Jake Sanders; her stepgrandchildren, Arielle, Eian (Ashley), Averie Elsass, Kailee Cooper (Jimmy) and Kimberlee Aston; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Ellery and Easton Elsass. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
