She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbert Gibson and Anna Gibson (Holmes) of Steubenville, OH.; her husband David B. Smith Sr.; and her siblings, Sharon L. Gibson, Carol Y. Gibson and Christopher M. Gibson.
She is survived by: her children, David Smith II (Danielle), LaTanya Smith-Ball (Eric), Shana Smith and Stephanie Jeter (DeAndre). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Donations are welcomed to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital on behalf of Janice Smith.
