It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Franklin Tongret of Canton, Ohio, who passed away on March 9, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Tongret and Hetty Tongret (Winn). He is survived by: his siblings, Janet, Anna, Wilbur and Thomas; his wife Carol A. Tongret (Trombino); his daughters, Tammy Tongret and Deanna Tongret; his siblings, Mary Walker and Irvin Stuart Tongret; and his grandchildren, Isabelle Tongret, Andrew Mayle, Sean Mayle, Justin Mayle and De'Shon Johnson. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
