He was predeceased by: his parents, Oran Turner and Glenda Turner; his brother Fred; his daughter Shelley Jean Defibaugh; and his granddaughter Katie Scarlett Turner.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Turner (Mospens); his children, Kathy Meeks (John) and David Turner (Patti); and his son-in-law Tim Defibaugh. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Formet-Clevenger & Gordon Funeral Home (1803 Cleveland Ave NW, Canton, OH 44709). A masonic service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 5:45 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
