It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor A. Slawson of Canton, Ohio, born in Middlebranch, Ohio, who passed away on May 15, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Mareno and Bertha Mareno (Yannone); her former husband Harold "Howdy" Slawson; and her siblings, Robert, Paul, Richard Mareno, Lucille Anthony, Dolores Clark and Janice Haswell.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Lazarites (Ted), Becky Gordon (Spencer) and James "Kim" Slawson (Susan); her grandchildren, Courtney Snyder (Scott), Philip Slawson and Ally Rowe (David); her great grandchildren, Logan and Lane; her sister Patricia Brankel (Richard); and her sister-in-law Neda Mareno. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
