She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius Gearhart (Eugene) and Pauline Gearhart; her husband Robert C. Forney; and her siblings, Janet, Richard and Gregg.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Hughes (Kenneth), Kristine Forney (James Clary), Dr. Michael Forney (Faye), Matthew Forney (Danielle) and Megan Forney; her grandchildren, Ben, Teddy of Timmy, AJ, Hannah, Robbie, Ruby and Elliot; her sister Bonnie Farrance (Kris Newlin); and her close friend Dennis DiNarda.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:45 PM at the Anthony Funeral Home - Akron Chapel (1990 S Main St, Akron, OH 44301). A Mass was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Paul Catholic Church (1580 Brown St, Akron, OH 44301).
