With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Edward M. Sedmock of Canton, Ohio, born in Thomas, West Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As Edward departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Edward. Though Edward may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Sedmock (DiBacco); and his children, Mark Sedmock (Karen) of North Canton, Matthew Sedmock (Donna) of Akron, Michael Sedmock (Christen) of North Canton, Patrick Sedmock (Christy) of Uniontown, Ann Looby (Mike) of Canton, Linda Costello (Mike) of Magnolia and Emma George of North Canton. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wackerly Funeral Home (1375 Market Ave N, Canton, OH 44714). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter Catholic Church (726 Cleveland Ave NW, Canton, OH 44702).
