She was predeceased by: her parents, Nunzio Gambone and Hildegard Gambone; her husband Jack Sams; and her siblings-in-law, Patricia Sams and Jim Sams.

She is survived by: her children, Kristopher Sams (Christina), Lance Sams (Emilee), Alicia Sams, Nicholas Sams (Rayna Funk) and Dustin Sams (Kayla Reyes); her grandchildren, Dylan, Connor, Natalie, Jaxon and Riley; her brother Jeff (Kathy); her nieces, Emily Gambone and Rhiannon Howard; and her aunt Anna Gambone.
