It is with great sadness that we announce the death of DeWayne E. Salsbury Jr. of Canton, Ohio, who passed away on October 23, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Rosy L. Salsbury, Sr. (Poe); his daughter Michele Moore (Salsbury); and his sisters, Anna Marie "Sally" Rowe and Theresa May "Doll" Lawrence. He is survived by: his father DeWayne E. Salsbury,; his wife Mary Salsbury (Judy) of Canton; his children, Randall Howard (Marcie) of Canton, DeWayne Salsbury, III (Carrie) of Bluffton and Delaney Salsbury of Upper Sandusky; his grandchildren, Cydnie Salsbury, Zayne Salsbury, Alex Howard and Randy Howard; and his siblings, Retha "Sis" Shumaker, Jeannie Tomlan (Mike), Rita Collins (Greg), David Salsbury (Shana) and Angela Hamilton (Dennis). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services - Bluffton Chapel (239 S Main St, Bluffton, OH 45817). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services - Bluffton (239 S Main St, Bluffton, OH 45817).
