With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Delores R. McKenzie (Canton, Ohio), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roberta Gardener (Tudy) and Daniel Compton; and her grandmother Mary Elizabeth Francis Broy. She is survived by: her caregiver Aide; her daughters, Caloa Moore and Carla Dickey; her daughter-in-law Lois McKenzie; her brother Alvin Gardener (Constance); her grandchildren, Kimberly Moore, Stacey Dickey and Tracey Dickey; her great grandchildren, LaGentrius, Tre'Juan, Sabriah Johnson, Shamiera McDew, JaMeera Conley, Jah'Quess Torrence, Kache'Rollison, Kahmyia and Keairah McCollum; her great great grandchildren, Bri'El Lipkins and Zyleek Amos; her godson Jack Mayle (Vivian); her daughter Stephanie Brogdon; her close friends, Lilly Johnson and Wanda Simmons; her stepmother Lucille; and her brothers, Reggie Gardener, Robert Gardener and Charles Gardener.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bethel Cme Church (1903 2nd St NE, Canton, OH 44704). A celebration of life was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
