We are sad to announce that on January 18, 2025, at the age of 77, David William Sheegog of Canton, Ohio, born in Massillon, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Odell Sheegog and Louise Sheegog; his siblings, Willie Pep, Earl Sheegog, Ethel Sheegog and Sarah Thurman; and his nephew Carlos Sheegog.
He is survived by: his wife Victoria Sheegog; his sons, Sean Sheegog (Natasha), David Sheegog Jr. and Bryan Sheegog; his grandchildren, Justin, Sean D, Victoria, Jaden, Cadyn, Kenyon, Keyanna, Bryan Jr., Jon Tera, Jon Naye and JayDen; his great grandchildren, Julian, Adrienne and Jru; and his sister Cynthia Sheegog.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. James AME Zion Church (209 2nd St SW, Massillon, OH 44646). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM.
