We are sad to announce that on October 11, 2024, at the age of 71, David W. Thompson in Canton, Ohio, born in Cumberland, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though David may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those David touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Thompson and Shirley Thompson (McCusker). He is survived by: his children, Robert Thompson (Amy), Josh Thompson and Annamae Thompson; his siblings, Rick Thompson (Sue) and Ledeina Pratt (Rick); and his pet Leroy. He is also survived by many grandchildren, and numerus nieces and nephews.
