He was predeceased by: his father S. F. Gibbons; and his brother Dennis Gibbons. He is survived by: his mother JoAnn Gibbons; his wife Brenda Gibbons; his sons, David Gibbons II and Christopher Gibbons (Lisa); his siblings, Tawanna Anderson (Craig), Lawanna Cournoyer (Kenny), Vicki Sanczel (Reno), JoAnn Gibbons and Robert Gibbons (Debbie); and his granddaughters, Emily, April and Cierra. He is also survived by aunt, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Faith Community Church (4301 Cleveland Ave NW, Canton, OH 44709). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
