He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Vanest and Halbert; his wife Patricia; his granddaughter Abigail; his stepfather Lee Javins; and his siblings, Doug Vanest, Josephine Blakley and Sandy Murray.
He is survived by: his children, Darrell Vanest (April), Danny Vanest (Cindy) and Amy Vanest (Jacob); his grandchildren, Darren, Zayne, Taylor, Dylan, Devyn, Hanna, Brooke and Tyler; and his siblings, Bonnie Wilson (Jerry), Terry Vanest (Brenda) and Peggy Clendenin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at 432 30th St NW, Canton, OH 44709. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
