He was predeceased by: his brother Dr. Nick Trifelos, MD of Columbus, OH; and his nephew Greg Trifelos. He is survived by: his wife Carol Trifelos; his children, Joanna Karpinski (David) of Hudson, Steve Trifelos (Sheila) of Strasburg and Elizabeth Dragar (Edward) of Hudson, Ohio.; his grandchildren, Katie (Andrew), Andrew, Daniel, Samantha and Jenna; his great grandchildren, Anastasia and Clara; his sister-in-law Helen Trifelos; his nephews, James and Michael Trifelos; and his cousins, Mary Trifelos and Athene Karis.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the endowment fund of St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church.
