She was predeceased by: her parents, Vasile Coțofana and Ioana Coțofana (Berghea); and her husband Dumitru Halmaciu. She is survived by: her children, Flory Aldea and George Halmaciu (Viorica); her grandchildren, Sonia, Fabian, Alexandru, Adrian Halmaciu and Alexandra Rhoads (Matthew); her great grandchildren, Everett and Micah Rhoads; her brother Ioan Coțofana (Dorina); and her nephew Ovidiu Coțofana.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. George Romanian Orthodox Church.
