Clare left this world on September 11, 2024 at the age of 97, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Zantopoulos and Anastasia Zantopoulos (Georgeouli); her husband John Stasin; her sisters, Sophie Catranides and Helen James; and her nephews, Alex Koufos MD and Craig James.

She is survived by: her daughter Maria Stasinopoulos; her grandchildren, Yianni Dimitri Stasinopoulos and Clare Marie Wilson; her nieces and nephews, Petros Alevras (Hrissa), Kathy Koufos, Freda Mechas and Doug James; and her godsons, Rodney Strata and Jimmy Leontas.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made in Clare's name to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
