He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles T. Thompson, Sr. and Gertrude Snyder (Thompson); and his sister Margaret Morrow. He is survived by: his children, Laura Berkeley (Scott) of Canton, Bill Thompson (Pat) of Ponte Vedra, FL and Charles "Thom" Thompson III (Nancy) of Minerva; his grandchildren, Thaddeus (Melissa), Gabriel (Barbara), Doug (Mandy), Chris (Amanda), Marshall (Melissa), Tyler (Kaitlin), Grant (Ana), Conner (Mackenzie) and Greg; his great grandchildren, Olivia, Charlie, Layla, Ben, Luke, John, Samantha, Emma, Brooks, Hunter and Hazel; and his sisters, Martha Clark and Anne Devine.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Hanoverton Christian Church (10251 Plymouth St, Hanoverton, OH 44423). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations, in Charles' name, may be made to Crossroads Hospice.
