She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Carl Lehwald and Caroline Lehwald (Martin); and her close friend Pat Kress. She is survived by: her children, Caroline Kast (James) and Cris Horton; her siblings, Karen Carter (William) and Dr. James Lehwald (Sue); and her grandchildren, Carl Blaine (Jaimie), KrisAnne Lawson (Josh), Jimmy Kast (Stacy) and Cara Kast (Tim Rooney). She is also survived by four great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
