She was predeceased by: her parents, Fenton Messenger and Doris Messenger (Kleist); her husband Randy; her son Rocky; her sister Jane Gulling (Messenger); and her brother-in-law Bob Mack.

She is survived by: her daughters, Dana (Frank Santoro) of Cranberry Twp and Deanna (Patrick Cercone) of Crestwood, KY; her daughter-in-law Kelly Frederick (Fields); her grandchildren, Joseph (Norah), Justin (Laura), Jenna (Nate), Jayme (Dylan), Brandy Ndirangu, Madison, Callahan, Max, Cole, Toby, Sadie and Caleb; her great grandchildren, Lia, Frankie, Gianna, Mylah, Lucy, Lydia, Michael, Gideon, Millie and Beau; and her sister Patricia "Pat" Mack (Messenger).
