She was predeceased by: her parents, Granville D. Shaw and Belva Shaw (Poling); her husband Charles Vanscoy; her siblings, Virgil Shaw, Earnest Shaw, John Shaw, Edison Shaw, Hazel Shahan and Elsie Shahan; and her close friend Bruce Buck.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Miller (Edwin), Thersa Swope (John), John Vanscoy (Anne) and Charles Vanscoy. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and 2 great- great grandchildren.
