She was loved and cherished by many people including: her granddaughter Vasilia A. Kostoglou; her parents, Constantine Valantasis and Caliope Valantasis (Speis); her husband Anthony Kostoglou; her son John Kostolgou (Lisa); and her brother-in-law George Kostoglou (Kostoula). She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in memory of Bess Kostoglou.
