She was predeceased by: her parents, Kirby Lee and Sallie Meadows Eason; her stepmother Edith Tripp Eason; her son Randy Kirkland; her son-in-law James Bright; and her siblings, Grace Eason Sumner and William Eason (Linda Eason).
She is survived by: her husband Bruce Kirkland of Canfield; her children, Kenny Kirkland (Carla) of Vanceboro, Mary Beardsley (John), Debbie Varie Bright of Coconut Creek, Jennifer Viggiano (Jim) of Rockford and Susan Russell (Fred) of Youngstown, Ohio; her grandchildren, Tiffany Kirkland Paxson (Don), Kenny Kirkland (Kelsey), Kara Kirkland, Breanna Beardsley Donahue (Dustin), Ashley Varie Roush (Dustin), Joseph Varie (Kelsee), Anthony Viggiano, Aiden Viggiano, Britnee Dyke Ledsome (Dakota) and Shawn Dyke; her great grandchildren, Gavin, Mason, Anna Paxson, Lane, Kaden Kirkland, Lacey, Dakota, Aida, Kenslee Ledsome and Chloe Donahue; her brothers, Toby Eason (Gail) and Sandy Eason; and her sister-in-law Eunice Eason. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lane Funeral Homes-Canfield Chapel (65 N Broad St, Canfield, OH 44406). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Sue's memory to Mill Creek Community Methodist Church.
