It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Check (Canfield, Ohio), born in Newton Falls, Ohio, who passed away on August 3, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Josephine Shafer (Yeager); her children, Thomas Check (Carol), Linda Walton (Tim), James Check (Becky) and Cindy Baker (Steve); and her father Justin Shafer. She was also cherished by 10 grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
The family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made to Hospice of the Valley in Shirley's name.
