He is survived by: his wife Mary Kimmel; his children, Patty Kurth of Canfield, Bonny McHenry (Joe) of Youngstown and Raymond E. Penny, Jr. (Michelle) of Austintown; his sister Norma Jean Diver of Canfield; and his grandchildren, Katie Kurth, Kristen Oakley (Myles), Joey McHenry (Stacey), Meredith McHenry, Raymond Penny, III and Alex Penny.
