He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Kollat and Julia Kollat (Lengyel); and his brothers, Frank, Zoltan and Tabor.

He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Teno; his children, Mark (Mary Jo) of Canfield, Brian (Christine) of Kent, Paul (Janeen) of Aurora and Lynore of Gainesville; and his sisters, Elizabeth, Eleanor and Louise Irene. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
