He was predeceased by: his parent LeRoy Mellott; his wife Judith Ann Mellott (Lanterman); his daughter Cheryl Mellott; and his brother Paul R. Mellott. He is survived by: his parent Josephine Baker Mellott; his children, David Mellott (Cathy) of Austintown and Andrea Leonard (Clark) of Canfield; his brothers, Gene Mellott (Dorothy) of Austintown and Glenn Mellott of Las Vegas; his grandchildren, Jennifer Gossett (Dave), Brian Mellott (Tiffany), Austin Leonard, Collin Leonard, Megan Leonard and Morgan Leonard; and his great grandchildren, Gionna, Keara and Tegan.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Ohltown United Methodist Church in Lester's name.
