He was predeceased by: his parents, Scott Rankin and Thelma Rankin (Scott); and his siblings, Frances Jones, Scott Rankin Jr., Jane Jenkins, Jean Stewart, Dorothy Garay, Felix Rankin, Shirley Weatherall, Clarence Rankin, Ronald Rankin, Harold Rankin and Larry Rankin.
He is survived by: his brothers, Stanley Rankin of Rhode Island and Donald Rankin of Maryland. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
