He was predeceased by: his parents, John Zuppo and Anne Zuppo (Choppa); his son James Paul; and his parents-in-law, Steve and Mildred Simunic.
He is survived by: his wife Kathlyn (Simunic); his sons, John (Meredith) and Stephen (Teri); his grandchildren, John IV, Alexandria, Stephen Jr., Brielle and Elizabeth; and his sisters, Sandra Reinhart (Bob) and Joanne Sura (Dave).
