He is survived by: his wife Florence Soloman Wess; his children, Julie Wess (Andrew Kohl) of Erie, Jennifer Geramita (Jonathon) of Boardman and John J. Wess Jr. of Struthers; his sisters, LouAnn Tyndall (Ron) of Surprise and Joni Gordon (Matt) of Canfield; his sister-in-law Marie Wess Calzo of Struthers; his brother Greg Wess of Austintown; and his granddaughter Allison Geramita. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
